Krafton Inc. The PUBG developer announces its plans for GamesCom 2022 Battlegrounds, has confirmed its presence in the next edition of GamesCom and revealed details of its announcements prepared for the fair, which takes place in Cologne, Germany.
In her presentation, she will bring news from two of her independent studios! Unknown Worlds, creators of the Subnautica series, and Striking Distance Studios, a team of game industry veterans led by Glen Schofield, creator of Dead Space.

To kick off its activities at GamesCom 2022, Krafton will be present at the show’s opening show, Opening Night Live, on August 23rd.
During the presentation, Charlie Cleveland, co-founder and director of Unknown Worlds, will officially reveal the new IP that will take place in a sci-fi world with creative turn-based gameplay.
Glen Schofield, CEO of Striking Distance Studios, will also take the stage at Opening Night Live to bring you more information about The Callisto Protocolthe company’s next major release in the survival horror genre, due for release on December 2, 2022.
As an official Gamescom exhibitor, Krafton will also have its own entertainment booth. In it, visitors will have the opportunity to be the first to test the new Unknown Worlds game.
It will also be possible to try out The Callisto Protocol’s Detainee Scan, a unique photo experience that will give participants the chance to experience the horrors that await when the game launches later in the year.
Please note that studios such as Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, THQ Nordic, and Koch Media have also confirmed their presence at GamesCom 2022.
